Every student is different, so at Dragón, the American School of Torrelodones, we run a personal admissions process that lets us get to know each family and make sure our way of teaching fits what they are looking for.

How the process works

From your first inquiry to your child’s first day, we walk you through every step.

Middle & High School has two extra steps: the questionnaires and the student interview.

  1. Request information or a call

    Fill in the form or write to admissions@dragonamericanschool.com. Applications for the following school year open after September.

  2. Meeting with the admissions team

    Once the application is complete, the admissions team will contact you to arrange a meeting at the school.

  3. Questionnaires

    Middle & High School only

    You send two questionnaires, one for the family and one for the student, together with a copy of last year’s reports.

  4. Student interview

    Middle & High School only

    The student has an interview with the School Principal or the Director of Studies.

  5. Application review

    After the meeting, and once all the requirements have been sent by email, the Admissions Committee reviews the application.

  6. Completing enrollment

    Depending on availability, you will receive an email with instructions to complete your child’s enrollment.
